Shon Harris
Shon Harris (March 27, 1968 – October 8, 2014) was a prolific author of books and articles on topics related to information security, including study guides for (ISC)2's CISSP security certification examination.〔(Worldcat record for author Shon Harris )〕 At the time of her death, over 1,000,000 copies of her books had been sold.〔(Tech Target obituary for Shon Harris )〕 An updated edition of her CISSP practice exam book was published posthumously in 2015.
Harris also served as an engineer in the United States Air Force Information Warfare Unit,〔(Shon Harris Obituary )〕 was as an information-security consultant, and founder of information-security training company, Logical Security.〔(Tech Target: Remembering Shon Harris )〕 As of May 2015, the Logical Security website was offline, although various advertisements for its products remained online as of November 2015.
